once upon a time, i fit an entire value menu in my stomach.

There are some people out there that didn't believe me. Here's the proof... one calorie at a time.

concerning my man boobs


Exercise has been going great. Lotsa cardio, lotsa Debbie Siebers, lotsa iron pumping, lotsa shvitzing. It's a good time and it's great being not quite as jolly even though it is Christmas time. Not to mention the man boobies are fading fast.

At my two week weigh in, I posted the highest percentage at 9.27%. They might as well hand over the money now. My percentage was more than 3% higher than my closest competitor and I pretty much blew all the smack talkers out of the water.... even though it didn't silence them. I guess when the money goes in my wallet they'll pretty much have to shut up once and for all, right?... right!

In the spirit of this new diet and to make me feel not so hungry right now. I'm feeling inclined to blog about food. With that being said the long awaited Wendy's Challenge '05  - a blog featuring a sequence of events through the visual means of photography!! (the real title won't be so long and pretentious, it was just a sad attempt at making this entry seem much longer than it really needed to be... similar to all this parenthetical rambling)

my boobs jiggle when i walk. my buckle stabs me when i bend.

All the late night Wendy's and afternoon trips to Chipotle followed by evening trips to Chipotle have finally packed my clothing to full capacity. Actually, I think a few items might be leaning into overflow territory... according to my girlfriend and her finger that points every time my shirts drifts up my midriff. Change is a necessity at this point. I've been eating like a rabbit and workin' it like Richard Simmons... with any luck i'll be able to shake it like Beyonce in no time (please excuse all the name dropping analogies. not funny, i know. so please refrain from reiterating that in your comments. thanks).

Not only is this going to make me a sexy pool going beefcake by summer but, I have money riding on this.... 50 bucks to be exact. If I lose more than the other fools who entered the contest, I could be sitting pretty with 700+ big ones. I think it's in the bag considering I weighed in with about 8lbs of water in my stomach. And no! this isn't cheating, I was thirsty.

Wish me luck.

My diet is and consists of a daily mix and match of the following.
- Slim Fast Optima shakes
- yogurt
- fruit (pomegranate, apples, oranges and pineapple mostly)
- cottage cheese
- various concoctions of fruit juices (made by me and my Breville Juice Fountain Plus)
- Lean Cuisine Cafe Classics
- small portions of mock chipotle rice
- pitas
- water (filtered and bottled)
- soy milk  (half glass at a time)
- steamed vegetables (from frozen bags)

My workout regiment consists of equal and some non equal parts of the following.
- treadmill
- elipticizing
- big weight machine w/ 4 different stations and no labels on the weights
- abs w/ Debbie Siebers
- stretch w/ Debbie Siebers
- free weights
- stationary bike
- 8 minute arms / abs / buns / legs

* and hopefully in January all these videos / contraptions will be replaced with one simple little board

so i started a blog.... so what.

Blogging has been all the rage for years now. I've read thousands of blogs and gained so much knowledge that I otherwise would have been oblivious to if it weren't for blogging. Now I feel like it is my chance to return the favor and bless the world with what I know and make each and every lucky person who runs across this blog a little bit more like AJ. I'll be posting everything I feel is important from my life, the world of pop culture, technology and ummm... more!
